The Delaware Department of Transportation is required by Title II of ADA, 28 CFR. Part 35 Sec. 35.105 and Sec. 35.150, to conduct a Self-Evaluation of its policies, services, activities, and buildings, and to develop a Transition Plan to lay out the actions that will be taken to render the States transportation facilities, services, programs, and activities accessible to all individuals. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is pleased to release the proposed DelDOT Americans with Disabilities Act, Title II Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan for public review and comment. The ADA Title II Self-Evaluation and Transition plan is available for review on DelDOTs website http://ada.deldot.gov.

DelDOT will be holding public meetings to provide information and answer questions about the Self-Evaluation and the Transition Plan. A court reporter will be available during the meeting to record formal comments. Interested persons are invited to submit written comments during the public meeting or at any time during the public review process. Comments submitted in any of the aforementioned formats will be included in the record of the ADA Title II Self Evaluation and Transition Plan meetings.
During the public meeting, we request that all comments be held until the Q&A session.

In Kent County at the DelDOT Administration Building, Farmington/Felton Conference Room, 800 Bay Road, Dover on August 5, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

When applicable, we offer the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire online which will automatically get emailed to Community Relations.
